  • Drafted Anguilla’s Intellectual Property Legislation to be compliant with WTO’s Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS Agreement). Primary and subsidiary legislation on Trademarks, Patents, Protection against Unfair Competition, Copyright, Industrial Designs, Layout Designs of Integrated Circuits, Geographical Indications. Advice on policy and to the Registry.
Ghana
  • Undertook mission on behalf of the World Intellectual Property Organization to Ghana to provide technical expertise on drafting new Intellectual Property legislation to comply with TRIPS Agreement.
Mauritius
  • Undertook mission on behalf of the World Intellectual Property Organization to Mauritius to provide technical expertise on drafting new Intellectual Property legislation to comply with TRIPS Agreement.
Trinidad & Tobago
  • Preparation of Trinidad and Tobago’s Intellectual Property legislation , in conjunction with the World Intellectual Property Organization, to comply with TRIPS Agreement, and a bi-lateral treaty with the US. Primary and subsidiary legislation on Trademarks, Patents, Protection against Unfair Competition, Copyright, Industrial Designs, Layout Designs of Integrated Circuits, Geographical Indications.

  • World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Preparation of a common law draft of WIPO’s draft law on Industrial Property for use in developing countries.

  • Inter-American Development Bank. Research and advice on seminar presentation for WIPO/IIPI Forum Creating an Effective Environment for Technology Transfer in Developing Countries. (Washington, 2001)

Anguilla
  • Preparation of and legal advice to the Government of Anguilla on [E-commerce policy framework]. Drafting of legislation to facilitate electronic transactions.

  • Legal Advice to the Government of Anguilla on Telecommunications reform including work on preparation of a National Policy , negotiations and preparation of telecommunications and public utilities commission legislation. Management of project, preparation of Terms of Reference.
